About the consultation
“Raising Expectations: enabling the system to deliver” is a joint consultation between the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Department for Innovation Universities and Skills (DIUS) on:

• the transfer of commissioning and funding responsibilities for 16-19 year olds from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to Local Authorities
• proposals for reforming the post 19 skills landscape.
  

About the events
Nine events are taking place across the English regions.  The events will give you a chance to learn more about the proposals and what they mean for you.  You will also have the chance to contribute to the debate and discuss the implications with other stakeholders within your region.
